Black

Ok...again Black isn't a color, it's all the colors together. We're just going to move along and celebrate it anyway.

There's the little black dress, the little black book, some other color is trying to be the "new" black, some designers only think a room is done if there's a touch of black in it...

and to go off on a tangent before I get to the goods...Did you know black cats and to a lesser extent black dogs are the least likely to be adopted? Some shelters will not take black cats and most stop adopting them out in the month of October for fear of people doing terrible things to them!

I am the proud "owner" (ha!) of a black cat and I cannot imagine life without her, and I cannot further imagine someone not wanting her for her color, she's beautiful! and yet she sat in the shelter for fourteen months before we found each other.

So here are ten reasons to adopt a black cat:
