I feel a bit like the dog in the photo right now. My favorite magazine is going away and I'm confused.
I was with Domino from the beginning, my subscription is good until 2011...now what? Will they just fill it with Lucky or some other Conde Nast publication?

All I have left is Real Simple and Living etc.
Sure blogs are great but there's just something to sitting down and leafing through your favorite magazine, blogs just don't equal the feeling.
What will you fill the void with?

I haven't read Domino but I really like Dwell. I recommend it if you are looking for a magazine that features modern houses, furniture, finishes, etc. It might just help fill the void.
ReplyDeleteDwell is ok, it's great eye candy but I can't afford anything in it.
ReplyDeleteDomino magazine, to me, was about accessible design. It's a philosophy that resonates with me. Sure the magazine had taken a more high-end route as of late, but it had not completely abandoned the original mission. I want to replace Domino for a publication with a similar goal, but I may have to look outside the U.S.: Living Etc and Real Living are high on my list.
