Continuing today with the property of the hotel. It is impeccably manicured (I know I'm starting to sound like a commercial for the place, but it really was an incredible trip!). There are so many small paths every spot feels like your own private place.
They have hammocks set up for guests and little seating areas tucked into parts of the path. We even saw a couple of rabbits on these paths.
The views of the surrounding mountains were lovely. It felt like we were in this little valley all alone.
This was one of my favorite areas, at night the fire pit was lit and while we were there the moon was full and you could see so many stars. On our last night there we got room service to bring us the ingredients for S'mores...that's right S'mores!
We roasted marshmallows here and soaked in the moonlight.
The croquet lawn.
Here is the Palm Springs Yacht Club, the spa at The Parker. I wish I could've taken photos of the inside. It was really beautiful. Dark navy blue walls with crisp white accents. In the main lounge there was a pool and two hot tubs and a indoor tent, done in a Moroccan theme. There was also a quiet room where there was snacks and lounge chairs everywhere, in there it was only light by candles. It was a perfect room to relax in after getting a massage or a facial (I can tell you both were amazing).
There was this secret little door in one part of the path, I don't remember where it led, I think to the back of the pool or another lawn.
The Lemonade Stand. This place seriously hand the best lemonade and Kobe beef hot dogs.
I am a sucker for an oversized chess set.
This was the large pool area, complete with giant foo dogs.
Be sure to check out my flickr set. There's a million more pictures of everything.
Tomorrow the finale of the photo tours you don't want to miss, it's VERY special!
