Shine-o Ball-o

Excuse the title, it's an obscure Simpsons' refrence.

Earlier this month I showed you these fantastic tulip brass candlesticks I thrifted while in Palm Springs.

While I was polishing up the brass feet for the dresser I refinished my eyes fell on the candlesticks and I got to polishing. I used a great product called Bar-Keeper's Friend. You can find it at any hardware store and most grocery stores. It's great and cleans everything, I also use it for enamel cookware and my sink it takes the dirt right off.

Here's how the candlesticks look now:

I kind of prefer the before, my husband likes them shiny. It will only be a matter of time before they're the way I like them again.
