Lamps, Lamps, Lamps

Another round of musical lamps. So I had the Ikea lamp hanging around so I thought I would try it at the top of the stairs. I also switched rugs from the downstairs hallway. The striped rug is a favorite of mine that Ikea doesn't make anymore and I'm afraid of it getting too dirty so I wanted to put it in a low traffic area.

So here is the before:

I think it's kind of a wash. Neither of them are knock outs.

So, with the table that was upstairs holding the lamp now free I took it downstairs and popped on of my favorite aqua lamps on it...

I'm not sure about the shade yet but I think I prefer this setup. I love this lamp and it's been staring at me tucked away in the closet. I can't quite angle the pole lamp where I want it and I don't love it like I love the aqua one.

 Unfortunately the second picture is darker, I had to close the blinds so you could actually see the lamp. It was getting washed out by the sunlight. I'm not loving the subwoofer where it is either but the cat loves to sit on it and look out the window and who am I to deny the cat?
