I had such good luck thrifting yesterday I had to share. I woke up to the news that I had won deedee9:14's twitter giveaway, I won this awesome casserole dish. Then my best friend and I went a-thriftin'. I got all of the above for under $40. The purple fabric is a hammock. I have nowhere to put this hammock unless I install some hooks but I'm gonna run it by B and see what he thinks...maybe the library could use a hammock...maybe.
The mirror might be my favorite thing, I can't decide if the frame needs to be painted or not. Those three tiny things in front are wood rings. That's a Mikasa Duplex tea setup and rubbermaid pitcher/glasses and tupperware and yes that pillow will be totally washed in boiling water, don't worry.

i am envious of your thrifty finds! its been a while since i went because i have been so let down ... not really by finds, but prices. ive been having a hard time finding a thrifty thrift store close by. this has inspired me to expand my search :) thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt is an awesome haul! Honestly things are so cheap in your thrift stores, our charity stores here are pretty pricey in comparison. Love the mirror too, I don't think the frame needs painting.

ReplyDeleteI so need that pitcher set. I've been searching high and low for one for my desk. I settled on a retro-looking measuring cup from Ross that I found at the Goodwill.
