I love discovering quirky, inexpensive, original home accessories. I love to find things by thrifting or bargain shopping, so I thought that I would share a few of my favourite kitchen thrift finds with you.
I found this awesome cupcake canister set at Value Village. I used to use it in my craft room, but now I keep odds and ends contained with the set on my kitchen counter.
This adorable elephant kettle was at a local antique shop. I guess it isn't a thrifted find, but I didn't pay an "antique shop" price for it. He is in perfect condition and loves to hang out on my stovetop.
My mom picked up this vintage aqua canister set at a sale held to raise money for a local museum. Mom knows my style, and knew that I would love these, since it's my favourite colour. She paid under ten dollars for them! The set is in near-perfect condition.
I love this little thrifted creamer! The colours and design are darling. We use the creamer for maple syrup or chocolate sauce, since we don't drink coffee. Works for us!
I love collecting vintage tea saucers. I love a helter-skelter, mismatched look, but I have a few collecting rules. I will only buy one of each saucer design, and they have to be under two dollars. My favourite ones are the bird designs.
Hope you enjoyed this peek into my kitchen. I love finding these cute goodies while thrifting, and I'm sure you do, too. Take these items as a little inspiration and go on a second-hand shopping excursion. Good luck - let me know what you find!

Hi Katie- I LOVE the elephant kettle. I'm always hunting for quirky thrifted bits too, the odder, the better :)
