DIY

Last month I went thrifting and bought some stuff. Among that stuff was two chrome frames for under ten bucks each. The artwork in one of them was...interesting.

That was an easy swap out. I popped in this print from Inkefx. Fancy.

The second frame I used for a button project I saw on Little Green Notebook. I had my Mother and Grandmother send me some buttons (pretty much everyone has a button jar right?). I sorted the buttons by color and picked out my favorites and sewed them on a piece of linen. The idea was that they'd fit behind the glass in the frame but as I was disassembling the frame the glass cracked. It was a blessing in disguise because I had some bulky buttons that wouldn't of fit under the glass anyway.

It was a fun project to do, I remembered a lot of the button's my Mom sent from my old shirts and her old dresses. Nostalgic!

The arrow print is now hanging in my totally redone bathroom, more on that soon. For now, here's a peek.
