I feel like hurling angry names at you out of envy for your beautiful collection :-) I have only ever found one piece of Kobenstyle a few years ago at a market, an aqua casserole in perfect condition for only $15, at the time I didn't know how expensive they are on eBay / collectors markets etc and I only had that amount left and chose to buy lunch instead. I think it's really important to know what your limits are and to stick with them. I think it shows a great deal of sense on your part not to get carried away with the idea of the chairs and to see the reality for what it was. You'll find better chairs for a better deal then won't have to deal with spending money on chairs you weren't happy with. I think that's a win.
